Your English Language Option:

If you choose to take the English Language Option when you book your holiday at
Le Prince Noir, on the evening of your arrival, you and your family, will have welcome aperitifs with Gordon and Jane in the farmhouse. You can get to know each other and plan your week’s holiday, together with your English learning programme. Don’t worry, Gordon and Jane also speak French, so conversation will not be a problem!

The Lessons:
During the week you will have two, 2 hour private lessons of English with Jane, as part of your English Language Option, but if you wish to have more private lessons this can be arranged. The lessons will take place in the farmhouse, and the timing of the lessons can be arranged at your convenience. Jane will first listen to your individual needs and requests, and assess your  level of English. If you are in a group, students at different language levels will be taught separately.
In all the lessons there is an emphasis on listening, speaking and practising pronunciation in English. The main aim during your stay is to help you to speak English more fluently and to be able to speak informally in everyday situations, so Social English will be an important part of your lessons.

Jane can also offer lessons in:
Business English: Speaking English at work, talking in business meetings, talking on the telephone, writing business letters, and all aspects of using English in a commercial situation.

English Exams: If you are studying for English exams at college or university Jane can help with all aspects of your course. She is experienced in teaching the Cambridge exams, which are internationally recognised e.g. First Certificate in English, Cambridge Advanced Exam.
In addition, IELTS, TOEFL, & TOEIC.

English for children: If your children are studying English at school, Jane can help them to progress during lessons that are lively and good fun!

During your lessons you will be given a Personal Language Development Programme with advice for more study in your own time, whilst on holiday and in the future.

Have private English lessons – planned just for you!

Social English:
During your stay at Le Prince Noir you will have the opportunity to practise your English everyday, both with your hosts and your fellow guests. As Gordon and Jane have a wide circle of British friends in the area, it is also possible to organise social meetings with other English families.

How to book your ENGLISH LANGUAGE OPTION.

BEFORE YOUR HOLIDAY:
1. Book your holiday accommodation by completing the frenchoasisholidays.com Booking Form and email or
post it to us.

2. Complete the English Language Option Booking Form, with all your details to tell us that you wish to have English lessons during your holiday. Email or post it to us.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT Le Prince Noir:

First, we will welcome you and show you around Le Prince Noir, then you can settle into your accommodation.
Later we will meet for Welcome Aperitifs, when we can discuss and plan your English lessons.
When you have booked your English Lessons you will then be asked to pay for your English Language Option.
Price: 100€ euros per week.
